Apple ’s next major iPhone software update will enable users to build digital gift cards and tickets, Bloomberg reported Monday (May 4), citing unnamed sources. The new “Create a Pass” feature in the Wallet app is designed for situations in which a business provides a QR code for entry but doesn’t support Apple’s Wallet app, according to the report. It enables users to generate a custom pass around the QR code by importing the code into the app, per the report.
