A federal court rejected Workday's argument. Workday has argued that it cannot be held liable under California anti-discrimination laws if its tools are used to screen and reject out-of-state job applicants. District Court Judge Rita Lin said she would likely allow additional state-level discrimination lawsuits filed against Workday to proceed.
