From finance to sports... SAS reveals industry-specific AI use cases at Seoul Customer Conference

SAS Korea CEO Lee Jung-hyuk, who gave the opening speech at the event, emphasized that this year marks the 50th anniversary of the founding of SAS and introduced SAS' journey of supporting customer decision-making through data and analysis technology over the past half century. CEO Lee said, “Technology is constantly changing, but people are always at the center of decision-making. In a complex business environment such as economic uncertainty, strengthening regulations, and rising customer expectations, what companies need is clear decision-making, not a temporary fad.” He continued, “SAS will continue to be the most reliable data and AI partner based on technological prowess, industry expertise, and responsible innovation.” Deepak Ramanathan, Vice President of Technology and Customer Advisory at SAS Asia Pacific (APAC), who gave the keynote speech, gave a presentation on the theme of ‘The future created together by human ingenuity and AI.’ “Currently, we are experiencing not a crisis of faith that AI will become important, but a crisis of trust in whether humans will still be important,” he said.
