Hyosung Heavy Industries and STT GDC joint venture opens data center targeting AI and cloud demand in Seoul

STT GDC announced the opening of STT Seoul 1, located in Gasan-dong, Geumcheon-gu, Seoul, on the 16th. The facility will be developed and operated by STT GDC Korea, a joint venture established in 2021 by STT GDC (60% stake) and Hyosung Heavy Industries (40% stake). The company plans to use STT Seoul 1 as a strategic base for entering the Korean market to respond to the demand for AI and cloud infrastructure construction from customers in Northeast Asia.
