AI agents are increasing, but there is no control… CIO’s Governance Vacancy

IT leaders are experiencing what governance in the agent era will look like. According to a survey of CIOs and CTOs conducted by the IBM Institute for Business Value, two-thirds of respondents said they are responsible for AI systems over which they do not fully control. This is because employees and each business division are building and distributing new AI agents on their own.
