Anthropic Makes First Acquisition for Enterprise AI Push

Anthropic has expanded its enterprise AI strategy through the first acquisition tied to its newly launched consulting venture, selecting San Francisco-based Fractional AI as the operational foundation of the business, Bloomberg reported Thursday (May 21). The new venture, which remains unnamed, is backed by investors including Blackstone, Hellman & Friedman, Apollo Global Management, General Atlantic, GIC and Sequoia Capital.
