A flock of chickens living in a coop near Dallas, Texas, are ordinary birds. But they hatched inside 3D-printed artificial eggs in a lab at Colossal Biosciences , the Dallas-based “de-extinction” company. Colossal designed a new system that functions essentially like a natural egg.
