AWS adds ‘Prompt Optimization’ feature to Bedrock… Generative AI cost reduction support

On Thursday, AWS added a new prompt optimization tool to Amazon Bedrock, a fully managed service for building, deploying, and scaling generative AI applications. The newly released ‘Amazon Bedrock Advanced Prompt Optimization’ is available through the Bedrock console and is designed to automatically improve prompts to increase accuracy, consistency, and efficiency across multiple large language models. AWS explained in a blog post that the tool first evaluates the prompts against user-defined datasets and evaluation metrics, then rewrites the prompts for up to five inference models.
