“Risk behind convenience”... OpenAI FDE model, CIO control issue emerges

On the 12th, OpenAI unveiled a new organization, ‘OpenAI Deployment Company’. This organization aims to support the construction and deployment of AI systems by directly deploying cutting-edge AI deployment experts, called ‘Forward Deployed Engineers (FDEs)’, into the corporate environment. The organization is supported by 19 consulting and financial companies, and also includes resources from the acquisition of Tomoro, an AI consulting and engineering company announced on the same day.
