“There is no forced upgrade”... Red Hat unveils ‘indefinite support’ RHEL service

Considering that migration in a corporate environment is structurally complex, expensive, and subject to constraints in certain environments, many software and cloud providers provide extended maintenance, technical support, and security updates. However, these services are often subject to multiple conditions or have a clear end point. Red Hat is attempting to change this practice by announcing the ‘Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) Long-Life Add-On’ at its annual conference, Red Hat Summit.
