Google Messages Bug Is Causing Text Messages to Disappear on Samsung, Pixel, and Motorola Devices

A bug in Google Messages is causing text messages to disappear unexpectedly across multiple Android devices. Initially reported by Samsung Galaxy users, the issue has now been noted by owners of Google Pixel and Motorola Razr devices as well, indicating the problem is not limited to a single manufacturer or related to the Samsung Messages migration. Neither Google nor Samsung has released an official statement acknowledging the bug or providing an estimated timeline for a fix.
