Microsoft Revenue Rises 19% to $92.3 Billion in Q1 FY2027

Microsoft reported revenue of $92.3 billion for the first quarter of its 2027 financial year, representing a 19% increase year-on-year, as growth in its cloud and artificial intelligence businesses contributed to a strong start to the fiscal year. For the quarter ended 30 September 2026, operating income rose by 21% to $45.9 billion, while net income under generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) increased by 32% to $36.6 billion. Diluted earnings per share climbed 32% to $4.92.
