Uber Kenya has failed to secure its removal from a lawsuit filed by 37 motorcycle riders who allege that the ride-hailing company deactivated their accounts without adequate explanation, leaving their livelihoods at risk. Kenya’s High Court rejected Uber Kenya’s application to be removed from the case, ruling that the company’s role in the riders’ account deactivations needs to be examined during a full hearing. The dispute centres on riders who say they lost access to Uber’s platform without su
