Amagi Media Labs faces extortion attempt, operational data stolen

Amagi Media Labs, a media software-as-a-service (SaaS) company that listed on the stock exchanges in January 2026, said it is facing an extortion attempt by a hacker claiming to have obtained operational and network configuration data from some of its systems. In a regulatory filing, the Bengaluru-based SaaS firm said the hacker has threatened to publish the data unless paid. Amagi did not disclose exactly when it received the extortion threat.
