BEL Plans INR 2500 Crore Defence Ecosystem in Andhra Pradesh

BEL’s ₹2500 crore defence investment in Andhra Pradesh could expand the regional supplier ecosystem, create 800 jobs and open potential opportunities for defence electronics manufacturers. Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL), a Central government-owned Navratna company, is investing ₹2,500 crore to establish a defence ecosystem on a 914-acre site in Andhra Pradesh’s Sri Sathya Sai district.
