Your car may no longer need your phone to get the full Spotify experience

TL;DR Spotify has launched its first fully native in-car app built on Android Automotive OS, debuting in select Audi vehicles. Unlike Android Auto, the new app works without a connected phone and supports Spotify Jam, DJ, music videos, real-time lyrics, and hands-free voice controls. The app is rolling out to supported Audi models across 47 markets, with more automakers expected to join over the coming year.
