Samsung is killing a smart TV hub that just got a major Google Photos upgrade

TL;DR Samsung is discontinuing its Daily Plus smart TV hub after October 30, 2026, according to a notice spotted by Android Authority . The shutdown comes after Samsung integrated Google Photos into Daily Plus, raising questions about what happens to the Memories experience. Apps previously available through Daily Plus will remain accessible through the TV’s Apps service, although some hub-specific features may be affected.
