Alibaba unveils automotive RISC-V processor IP and roadmap for self-driving and robotics

Alibaba’s DAMO Academy unveiled the XuanTie E908A automotive processor IP at the RISC-V China Summit in Shenzhen on October 19. Designed for safety-related computing, domain controllers and vehicle gateways, the processor IP supports the ASIL-B and ASIL-D automotive functional safety requirements, according to DAMO Academy. The company also introduced a processor roadmap for autonomous driving and embodied AI.
