YouTube is actively negotiating with major book publishers to launch a dedicated audiobooks feature as early as next year, according to a report from The Wall Street Journal . While Google has not officially confirmed the initiative, the move would formalize a massive, currently unregulated segment of the platform’s content. The Current Landscape and AI Piracy YouTube already hosts a vast, unofficial library of audiobook videos.
