This Google Meet upgrade makes large meetings less awkward on Android

TL;DR Google Meet on Android will soon let eligible live-stream viewers join the main meeting directly. The switch works without reopening invite links or leaving the app, as long as the viewer was invited to both the stream and the meeting. The rollout starts October 19 and will be available to Workspace customers, Workspace Individual subscribers, and personal Google accounts.
