Microsoft Forms Xbox Labs to Bring Xbox Games to Web Browsers and New Hardware

Microsoft has formed Xbox Labs, a small team of game makers, engineers, and scientists that will turn emerging technology into products for Xbox players and developers, according to a memo from Xbox CEO Asha Sharma published on Xbox Wire on October 13. The announcement puts particular emphasis on web browsers and on getting new and older games onto devices they were never built for. Sharma says she asked Scott to stand up the group.
