Apple Launches the $299 HomeView, Its First Smart Display, With Sales Starting November 13

Apple has announced the HomeView, the company's first smart display, at a media event in New York City. The HomeView costs $299, preorders are open now, and sales begin November 13 in the US, UK, Australia, Canada, New Zealand, India, Singapore, and South Africa. The device has a 7-inch square Liquid Retina display and comes in two versions at the same price: a countertop model on a speaker base and a wall-mounted model.
