HomeView's Wall Model: Pay More, Get Less Speaker

Apple offers two versions of the HomeView , one that can be mounted on the wall and one that's a standalone model with a speaker base. The wall-mounted version and the speaker version are both priced at $299, with no discount for the base-free model. Wall mounting is the more expensive option because most buyers will need hardware that's sold separately and is currently priced starting at $60.
