Bolt Seeks Talks With AUATON Ahead of October 12 Strike
Ride-hailing company Bolt has called for dialogue with the Amalgamated Union of App-based Transporters of Nigeria (AUATON) ahead of the union’s planned indefinite shutdown of Bolt and inDrive services in Lagos from October 12. Bolt said it had taken note of drivers’ concerns about earnings, operating costs, platform charges, transparency and welfare. The company acknowledged the economic pressures facing drivers and said it wanted to work towards a more sustainable ride-hailing environment.
