Ant Group tests personal-agent upgrade for its LingGuang AI assistant

Ant Group is testing a new version of its LingGuang AI assistant that adds long-term memory and the ability to carry out tasks proactively, Sina Tech reported on October 11. People close to the project said development began about six months ago and the company plans to open the upgrade more broadly this month. The upgrade moves LingGuang beyond answering questions and generating applications toward managing tasks that unfold over time.
