Chinese brands to account for a third of automakers at Paris Motor Show

A record 20 Chinese car brands will participate in the 2026 Paris Motor Show, accounting for roughly a third of the approximately 60 automakers exhibiting at the event. The show opens on October 12, with Chinese participation doubling from 10 brands at the previous edition in 2024. BYD and Chery will be joined by newcomers including Aito and Avatr as Chinese manufacturers expand their European presence with electric and hybrid vehicles.
