Millions of telecommunications subscribers across Nigeria experienced severe service disruptions following a major network outage affecting MTN Nigeria ’s infrastructure in key commercial and administrative centers. The country’s largest mobile network operator confirmed that subscribers across Lagos, Oyo, Rivers, Delta states, and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) faced intermittent to complete downtime impacting voice calls, SMS, and high-speed data transmission.
