AMD AI Chip Supply to Surge in 2027 as Demand Soars

AMD plans to substantially increase its chip supply in 2027 as the semiconductor company races to keep pace with rapidly rising demand for artificial intelligence hardware. Chief Executive Officer Lisa Su said Tuesday that AMD has already increased supply during 2026 and expects to make a much larger expansion next year. She made the comments in Taipei while meeting companies across the semiconductor supply chain, including major manufacturing and technology partners.
