Chandigarh court suspends three Facebook pages over AI-generated political videos

Facebook has been directed by a civil court in Chandigarh to disable public access to or suspend three pages until October 22, 2026. This include the Facebook pages of Batale Di Rajneeti, Kachi Laan and Thanedar. This has been done over AI-generated videos of politician Amandeep Jaintipur of Batala.
