DeepSeek V4 becomes default model for OpenClaw

The global open source agent framework OpenClaw released its 2026.4.24 version on Sunday, bringing both DeepSeek V4 models into its core ecosystem. V4 Flash, designed with 284 billion parameters and 13 billion activated parameters, is now the default model, delivering Max mode inference performance close to the 1.6 trillion parameter V4 Pro. Meanwhile, V4 Pro, recognized as the world’s largest open source model, has also been added to the model library.
