South Africa’s ICASA Withdraws Telecom Affordability and OTT Inquiry Notices

The Independent Communications Authority of South Africa (ICASA) has withdrawn notices relating to its Telecommunications Affordability Inquiry and Inquiry into the Impact of Over-the-Top (OTT) Services. The notices, published in Government Gazette Nos. 4130 and 4129 respectively, are being withdrawn to allow ICASA to address administrative and procedural matters and ensure better regulatory alignment.
