Razorpay enables Apple Pay for online and in-store payments in India

Razorpay has enabled Apple Pay for online and in-store payments in India, allowing eligible shoppers to complete transactions using Face ID, Touch ID, or their device passcode instead of manually entering card details or waiting for an OTP. The payment option is now live with businesses including Zepto, ixigo, IndiGo, Tata 1mg and JioMart. The move comes as digital payment authentication in India evolves beyond SMS-based one-time passwords.
