OpenAI launches Dots that keep working without user prompts, plus other DevDay updates

At DevDay 2026, OpenAI introduced dots : persistent AI agents powered by GPT-6 Astra. These agents operate independently in the cloud and continue tasks without user prompts . Dots are being released in ChatGPT for Pro and Business Premium users in eligible markets .
