What if your cab’s driver or vehicle doesn’t match the app? A PIL seeks accountability.

The Delhi High Court on September 30 issued notices to Ola, Uber, Rapido, the Centre, the Delhi government and Delhi Police. The notices relate to a public interest litigation (PIL) seeking stronger safety measures for women using app-based cabs, bike-taxis and other ride-hailing services. The court directed the respondents to file their replies.
