TSMC Eyes Texas Expansion for New US Chipmaking Hub

Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co. (TSMC) is evaluating a potential investment in Texas as it considers expanding its US chipmaking footprint beyond Arizona, according to people familiar with the matter. The world’s largest contract chipmaker has not finalised a Texas investment plan.
