The US government now has an AI chatbot, and Google is helping power it

TL;DR America.gov is a new AI-powered US government portal that pulls information from more than 29,000 official sources. The Google-backed platform can answer questions about benefits, forms, fees, deadlines, and eligibility, while also supporting PDF uploads and voice input. America.gov is limited to providing information at launch, but it plans to support forms, applications, and renewals starting in 2027.
