Tesla Semi Deliveries Begin After Nearly Nine Years

After years of delays and shifting production targets, Tesla is finally putting its Semi electric truck into the hands of customers. The company began deliveries of the long-haul electric truck this week, nearly nine years after Elon Musk unveiled the Semi in 2017. Tesla marked the occasion on Thursday, September 24, at its dedicated facility in Sparks, Nevada, where executives showcased the production truck and introduced several of its customers.
