Kenswitch launches a Kenyan Card Scheme without naming a single issuing Bank

Kenswitch, Kenya’s largest independent payments switch, has launched a domestic card scheme that lets banks and other financial institutions issue physical and virtual cards on its network. This is a first for the company, which has until now only routed payments between banks. It unveiled the Kenswitch Card on Tuesday at Strathmore University, built with TAI FINTECH.
