NuRAN to Pilot Starlink LEO Backhaul in Nigeria

NuRAN Wireless is set to pilot Starlink low Earth orbit (LEO) satellite connectivity as a backhaul solution at a rural telecommunications site in Nigeria, as the company explores new ways to improve connectivity in underserved areas. The pilot will be carried out with long-time partner Infratel and will combine NuRAN’s rural telecommunications infrastructure with licensed Starlink satellite service obtained through third-party providers. NuRAN said the project will assess the performance, reliab
