Lowe’s Tests 20-Minute Drone Delivery With DoorDash and Alphabet’s Wing

Home improvement retailer Lowe’s is testing drone delivery in Charlotte, N.C., saying in a Thursday (Sept. 24) press release that this fulfillment method gets select items to directly to do-it-yourself and professional customers in as little as 20 minutes. This offering is powered by Wing and DoorDash , companies that already offer drone delivery operations in the area and serve other brands as well, according to the release.
