Global 6G Connections to Hit 50 million by 2030 as China and North America to Lead 6G Adoption

The global mobile industry is preparing for the transition to 6G, but 5G will remain the dominant mobile technology well into the next decade. GSMA Intelligence forecasts that global 6G connections will reach 2.4 billion by the end of 2035, representing around 23 percent of worldwide mobile connections. The latest GSMA Intelligence mobile technology forecast extends its outlook to 2035 and provides its first detailed assessment of the expected migration from 5G to 6G.
