3IF Ventures backs embedded insurtech Turaco

Africa-focused venture capital firm 3IF Ventures has completed its debut transaction, backing embedded micro-insurance platform Turaco through its Inclusive Insurance Investment Fund . The investment marks the first capital deployment from the fund following its initial close earlier this year. Turaco operates across six African markets as well as Pakistan, delivering low-cost medical and life insurance products through embedded partnerships.
