Yangtze Memory wins first substantive injunction in 3D NAND patent fight with Micron

Munich Regional Court I has ruled that Micron infringed two German utility models held by Yangtze Memory Technologies, and issued injunctions covering the sale of related infringing products in Germany. The ruling marks Yangtze Memory’s first substantive injunction victory since its global patent dispute with Micron escalated in November 2023. Micron said it disagreed with the decision, filed an appeal and was challenging the validity of the relevant rights.
