Mastercard Launches Wallet Pay Globally

Mastercard has launched Mastercard Wallet Pay , a global portfolio of payment solutions designed to help digital wallet providers expand interoperability across contactless payments, QR codes and online transactions. The company said the initiative responds to the rapid growth of digital wallets, which have evolved beyond basic payment tools into multi-service financial platforms. More than 4.3 billion people globally use digital wallets, with that figure expected to exceed 6 billion by 2030.
