CCPA fines e-commerce platform 10 lakh for sale of drone jammers without regulatory disclosures

The Central Consumer Protection Authority (CCPA) has fined e-commerce platform Xboom Rs 10 lakh for listing six anti-drone systems, drone jammers and GPS jammers without required regulatory disclosures. The devices are restricted to authorised government and security agencies , and require prior permission from the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) for manufacture, procurement, deployment, and use.
