Karnataka sustainable data centre policy 2026–31 explained

Karnataka’s cabinet has approved its Sustainable Data Centre Policy 2026–31 . The policy targets 1 GW of cumulative data centre IT capacity by 2031 . It also targets a 10–12% share of India’s AI-ready data centre capacity , according to a Moneycontrol report .
