Gmail just made copying 2FA codes much less annoying

TL;DR Gmail is rolling out a “Copy code” button for two-factor authentication emails on Android and iOS. The shortcut lets you copy a verification code directly from your inbox without opening the email. The feature is appearing in Gmail for Android version 2026.09.07.x and iOS version 6.0.260907, but not on the web yet.
