This clever Plex app could give your aging LG TV a new lease on life

Scott Brown / Android Authority TL;DR PlxNative is a new open-source Plex client for LG webOS TVs that’s designed to make browsing and navigation much faster on older hardware. It uses a native Rust/OpenGL interface rather than running in a browser, while still relying on your TV’s hardware decoder for video playback. You can install it via the Homebrew Channel or sideload it via LG’s Developer Mode and webOS Dev Manager.
