This Microfinance Bank localised its data before the CBN said it would be mandatory

Nigeria’s central bank gave the payments industry until January 1, 2027, to move its data home. PatrickGold Microfinance Bank, a Lagos-based lender licensed since 2015, made that move around 2019 and 2020. Currency fluctuations made foreign hosting too expensive, prompting them to act well before regulators demanded it.
