Apple Bets on Siri AI to Win the Personal Assistant War

Apple released its artificial intelligence-powered Siri AI on Monday (Sept. 14), saying in a press release that the assistant is now more capable with personal context understanding, world knowledge, onscreen awareness and more systemwide app actions. Apple began rolling out Siri AI in beta in English, and the company plans to expand it to French, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese and Spanish in October, according to the release.
